Technology transforming farms of the future
With Queensland celebrating the annual EKKA holiday this Wednesday, AIIA's CEO tips her hat to the technologies transforming Australia’s agricultural landscape.

Project wins Whether tapping off-the-shelf products or developing technology or services in-house or with a partner, this award will go to an individual whose team or teams successfully executed on named technology implementations, showing business benefits.
The judges, including Sheryle Moon, AIIA's CEO, will be looking for specific contributions, backed up by figures wherever possible.

Queensland students discover ICT careers are cool
More than 900 students from across Queensland gathered on the Gold Coast last week to find out why a career in ICT is cool.
Students aged between 12 and 15 attended the ICT: Start Here, Go Anywhere event, which was launched by former Miss Australia, Erin McNaught and staged by AIIA, Microsoft Australia and the Queensland Government.
Ms McNaught, who hosts gaming and gadget show Cyber Shack on Channel 10, has been chosen as the poster girl for a new campaign aimed at encouraging young people into the computer industry.
Presentations were broadcast live on the Internet with schools across Queensland tuning in. You can access an on-demand version online.
