AIIA announces iAwards finalists for 2006

The select group of 2006 iAwards finalists has been announced.

The iAwards - the Australian ICT industry’s premier annual awards program – is presented by AIIA, the Australian Financial Review and the CSIRO ICT Centre.

AIIA’s Chief Executive Officer, Rob Durie commented on the outstanding quality of the nominations received this year, “It is always incredibly exciting and uplifting to see the calibre of ICT innovation that Australia has to offer when we explore the iAward nominations. The iAwards are all about recognising, showcasing and celebrating the ‘best of the best’ ICT products and services and in doing so, providing the impetus to launch more Australian ICT successes.”

Finalists will now proceed to the rigorous second round of judging which will be held in Sydney on 15 and 16 March, 2006.
